Salmon in German Rhine (Rhein) River

While some fishermen in Germany still be surprised to catch a Salmon and others just be happy to do so, not so many people in Germany know why there are Salmon in the Rhine River again. About 30 Years back in Time the Rhein was not the place to catch a Salmon. But almost 30 years ago, small fishing club's such as the ASV Wasserrose Biblis buy and release Salmon and Trout fry in the Weschnitz River by Biblis. The Weschnitz is a small river with origin in the Odenwald Mountain's and estuary into the Rhine River by Biblis.

A big "Thank You" to all the Fishing Club's and their memebers which donated money to make this came true.
